Through a competitive bidding process, the county selected Colorado Independent Consultants Network, LLC (CICN) to establish an internal audit process and conduct operational audits of the County’s operations.

CICN was formed to offer organizations a lower cost alternative to larger accounting and consulting firms, while providing more experienced professionals than would be provided by these firms.

CICN is a growing network of auditors averaging over 15 years’ experience in auditing and business process consulting. CICN consultants typically have a background with a “Big 4” accounting firm, project management experience, and one or more professional certifications, including CPA, CIA, CISA, and CFE.

While CICN serves a variety of industries, our focus is primarily state and local government agencies. CICN’s governmental clients include Adams County, Jefferson County, Arapahoe County, Denver Water, Denver International Airport, Colorado Housing and Finance Authority and the State of Colorado.
